Ice Man
My husband is crazy...he loves this cold weather and likes to sleep with the windows open. Normally I would object to this, but last night I actually caved in with the agreement that William would sleep on the side next to the window. We set up camp in our study on the futon and had mountains of blankets piled on top of us (more like me). I was snug as a bug in a rug on my side, but in the middle of the night William turned and put his hand on my stomach, it was so cold I almost jumped out of the bed. It was literally like someone had put ice on me. I woke William up with an "Omigosh! Your hands are like ice!" to which he responded, "Huh?" He was that cold, but hadn't even noticed. I even covered him up and he kicked the blankets off, he liked being that cold!
If I get even a little cold, it takes forever for me to warm up (those of you who've been winter camping with me know this)! William is always warm, so he takes forever to get cold and relishes the moments when he's achieved ice-hood. I suppose I shouldn't complain too much, because one of the great things about being married is now when I am cold, I have someone to snuggle me. I think I am going to go open a window! ; )
