Ministry, it's a full time job.

It seems that though I quit my job last month, I have been a lot busier lately. Between classes our church and Women's Ministries, I think I have something every day of the week. It's been great though, it's the "work" I prefer to do.
Last weekend William and I volunteered for the Northview Kids summer celebration. There was a water slide, squirt guns, water balloons, a kiddie pool filled with mud and one filled with noodles...that was gross! All of the kids seemed to have a really good time, so did the parents. William and I got soaked!
We also had a baby shower for one of the ladies at our church on Sunday, it was a huge success. There were so many gifts! I was so excited to see just how many women from our church came out to support and love this family.
Last night we had our first meeting with our small group which is very cool. I love small groups/bible studies, maybe it's because I met my husband at one?
This Friday William is playing at Cafe/Game night at the church. He always does an awesome job and it's a real treat for me to actually get to hear him sing.
I am really excited about being so involved in a church family again. I know that God has big things in store for our church.
