New Things All Around
This has been a very productive weekend/week so far:
-William and I found a new home that will be in-district for my schooling AND $115 a month cheaper! It is closer to school and only like half a mile further to William's office than we are currently. It is quite a bit smaller, but the money saved in tuition and rent is well worth the sacrifice in space.
-I also got a new job (or a job for that matter). It's a part-time temp position for the next 6-8 weeks. It's great because I'll get to see if I can handle working while I am in school, but not have to commit to a long-term position. I'll also get paid close to what I was making at American so that's nice!
-We got our insurance renewal information and were so bummed because they raised it by $152 a month! I stopped by State Farm to get a quote and they are able to insure us for $258.33-$25.50 of that will be Renters insurance! So that is a HUGE blessing! I was so upset because I thought all of the money saved on rent would have to go towards the insurance hike.
-William got an awesome work review and a raise! Woohoo!
-God has also provided us with means to sponsor our friends who have dedicated themselves to world missions.
-And (on a lighter note) We're getting a new bed! (For those of you who don't know why this is so exciting to me-we've been sleeping in a Full-sized bed since we've been married). We are upgrading to a Queen and just bought a lovely Queen Anne style headboard.
I am so amazed and grateful for the ways that God has blessed our life. I offer Him all praises!
