Locks of Love...not Laughing out Loud ; )

I donated 10 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. I now have what my stylist refers to as a "swing bob" apparently it's not a guy named Bob swinging from my head like I had imagined. I think it's funny how women get married and cut off all their hair. It's also funny seeing the different reactions I get from people. One lady in my English class was so shocked she just kept saying, "No, no you didn't cut off all your hair!". I told her it was just hair and that it would grow back, she said, "Yeah, but "you don't have it anymore!" I said yeah, but now someone else will, to which she responded, "Yeah, but you don't have it anymore!" It was cute.

Hey we got our new bed! My dear bro-in-law Lloyd drove it down the night before last. I really appreciate that he did this for us, especially since it flew out of the truck in the heavy winds we had. Thank God for keeping him safe in retrieving it. William and I slept like babies last night, and not the screaming crying kind.

Other than that, nothing too big going on. I am enjoying temping and back in classes from Spring Break.

Hope everyone is doing well.

  • I did the Locks of Love thing...and because of the color of my hair they said it'd probably be used as highlights in many wigs since teen girls really wanted that fashion these days.

Unfortunately for me and those I love, when they cut off my ponytail I looked an awful lot like George Washington on the dollar bill.

  • Justin-
We are working on it. Won't we see you at Shaune and Stacey's wedding?

    Brent-
How awesome that your hair will be used to help so many kids!

    I don't know about the G.W. comment...
